Webinar Overview:

The U.S. is clearly one of the leaders and innovators in patient safety, supporting the World Health Organization’s initiatives to have uniform and effective international practices to reduce medical errors and improve patient safety.

The objective is to have standardized practices so that patients from one country can go to a hospital in another country and have a safe, error-free experience. European Union countries, like the states in the U.S., are working to have the highest standard of patient safety.

European and Pacific Rim countries may be going beyond the U.S. standards in transparency and outcomes.

Participants will learn what other countries are doing to improve patient safety and how U.S. hospitals can collaborate with hospitals in other countries to learn from one another.
